As an Associate Director at 64North, Rebecca Park is responsible for the design, management and construction of many of the studio’s multifamily housing and single family housing projects. She also leads the office’s automotive and retail design efforts. Her work combines a cutting-edge design sensibility with keen attention to detail extending through construction, ensuring projects are realized at the highest standard.
Previous to joining 64North, Rebecca focused on the development of prefabricated single family residences, including with ConnectHomes and United Dwelling. As the director of research and design at United Dwelling, she managed the manufacture and installation of 121 accessory dwelling units and multiple ground-up residences throughout Southern California. Prior to her work as an architect, Rebecca developed marketing strategy for Fortune 500 brands including Coca Cola, Chipotle, Diageo, GM, Microsoft, and Unilever, the MacArthur Foundation, and celebrity clients including Chris Paul and Selena Gomez. These innovative campaigns included pioneering livestreams with Google and YouTube, leading mobile startup LINE’s growth in North America, and groundbreaking online campaigns with musicians including John Legend, Nicky Romero, will.i.am, and Taylor Swift.
Born in Los Angeles, Rebecca is a first-generation Korean American and is fluent in Korean. She received her Masters in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture and a Bachelors of Arts in International Relations from Claremont McKenna College. Rebecca has also taught at Pomona, Scripps, Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, and Pitzer Colleges. Outside of 64North, Rebecca produces music and digital art, and enjoys hiking in her native Southern California.
