As 64North’s Associate Director of Sustainability & Adaptive Reuse, Brittni Kluzak is responsible for the design, management, and construction of many of the studio’s most complex institutional, multifamily, and mixed-use projects, as well as single family residences and estates. Brittni’s work draws on her keen eye for detail and her unique background successfully integrating sustainable, forward-thinking architectural and interior design in to sensitive historical and environmental contexts across a wide range of project types from initial concepts through punch list.
Prior to joining 64North, Brittni was a designer at Loescher Meachem Architects, designing innovative creative office environments for a wide range of clients including Warner Brothers and Skydance Media as well as interiors for educational institutions including the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Following her tenure at Loescher Meachem, she was also a designer at Yoram Lepair Architects, leading the design of luxury single family homes and equestrian estates throughout Southern California. She has also worked with Minnesota’s Metropolitan Airports Commission, which oversees a diversity of projects at Minneapolis St. Paul International including terminal upgrades as well as traffic data systems. Brittni has also worked at LHB, where her work focused on 100% affordable housing projects, and at Wendel, working on a wide range of education, commercial, public safety, and transit projects. Prior to her work in the United States, Brittni also worked in Bologna, Italy.
Born in Pierre, South Dakota, Brittni received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota’s College of Design. Outside of 64North, Brittni is an avid skier and photographer, and spends her free time restoring her historic 1921 Craftsman home.
