Rising over the skyline of Shenzhen, the new Literature & Art Museum, for which Wil Carson was the Project Designer for Michael Maltzan Architecture, creates a new model for how a cultural institution can inhabit a vertical city. The project includes multiple theaters for film and drama, a large library and literary archive, dance studios, and additional public amenities, creating a significant new destination for the public life of the city of Shenzhen.
