The Hidden Ridge Residence is a 15,000 square foot single family residence located in Hidden Hills, currently under construction. The project balances the more conservative character of the surrounding community with a modern design palette, juxtaposing gabled roof forms and a shingle-clad exterior with expansive glass facades which connect interior and exterior. The project is organizes as a series of five gabled volumes which fan outward to encompass a broad lawn and the view over the hills to the west.

From the entry beneath a cantilevered covered entry overhead, a direct line of site extends all the way through the project to the great room and pool to the rear; a perpendicular set of galleries similarly connects gardens to the south with an interior couryard and a secondary entrance to the north. The ground level includes an ample set of spaces for entertaining, including a theater, den, bar, lounge, and wine cellar, as well as spaces for recreation including a spa and gym overlooking the rear of the residence. Overhead, the gabled volumes cantilever outward to the view, enclosing more private spaces for the family. A guest house is located just adjacent to the north and an additional 1,000 square foot music studio is planned as a sixth volume just south of the expansive new home.
