Wil Carson is one of Engineering News Record’s “Top 20 Design Professionals Under 40”. He is an architect whose work is a synthesis informed by his previous work as a documentary filmmaker and creative director. Born in Alaska, Carson holds degrees from Harvard University and UCLA, with additional graduate study at MIT, Yale, Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan University, and Vienna’s Universitat fur Angewandten Kunst, where he studied under Pritzker Laureate Zaha Hadid. Prior to founding 64North, Carson was the Senior Designer for Michael Maltzan Architecture, where his work was recognized with three Progressive Architecture Awards, fifteen awards from the American Institute of Architects, and as the winner of five international competitions. He is a registered architect, a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He has lectured at Dwell on Design and at the Architecture+Design Museum, and currently serves a faculty member at UCLA’s School of the Arts & Architecture.


Holly Han has worked in technology, consumer products, and fashion in New York and Los Angeles for the past seventeen years, leading all aspects of branding and business strategy. Ms. Han holds degrees from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, UC Berkeley, and the Fashion Institute of Technology with additional studies at Caltech. She began her career at Vera Wang and continued to work with Victoria’s Secret, JC Penney, and Anthropologie. She served as the Chief Operating Officer of John Kelly Chocolates and SmartWear, developing a new class of patented smart textiles funded by the NIH, NSF, Army, Navy, and Missile Defense Agency. Ms. Han also co-founded the jewelry brand Dahlia and MyShape, a venture-backed online retailer with the patented ShapeMatch system. In addition to her role of principal at 64North, Ms. Han also serves as a director at The Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and previously taught at the MBA Program at Marylhurst University.


Sanjay Nambiar directs all aspects of brand and messaging strategy for 64North, drawing on fifteen years of experience of creative skills and business acumen. His background spans a wide array of disciplines including investment banking, business development, strategic marketing, entertainment, and entrepreneurship. He has developed branding and messaging for a diverse range of clients including Ogilvy, Edelman, LG, Toyota, EPSON, Comcast, and the Broad Foundation. Mr. Nambiar graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with degrees in Economics and Neurobiology and received his MBA from UCLA Anderson. In addition to 64North, he also serves on the Board of Directors for Ready, Set, Read!, a non-profit that helps underserved families read to their pre-school age children. Mr. Nambiar is also a published author; his debut book was awarded the Gelett Burgess Gold Medal.


David Wong has more than twenty years of experience designing and building interactive applications. Mr. Wong has led the development of 64North’s most important projects for clients including John Kelly Chocolates, Concerto, and MIT. After studying architecture at UC Berkeley, he played key roles in the design and deployment of interactive television and online shopping for companies including Hyatt International and MT&T. Mr. Wong’s experience in user-focused application design also includes consumer-focused websites for General Motors, FedEx, and eStamp as well as enterprise-class web applications for Cisco, HP, Motorola, and Oracle.
